Dear Senior Capstone Students,
Your English Teachers miss working with you in the classroom and wish you and your families health and safety during this challenging time. Although we cannot see each other in person, we want to be a continued support to you as learners and people. Beginning Monday, April 6th, BHS will move to a new phase of remote teaching and learning for all grades, including seniors. This means we will help you bring closure to your independent study of your Capstone topic.
In order to earn credit for quarter 4, between now and May 1, you must choose and complete one of the following options:
Option 1: Finish your Capstone product following the criteria for credit (We recognize that your products may look different from what you originally planned, given our current situation. We want you to know that this is ok!)
Option 3: Complete both Option 1 and Option 2
We know you may have questions about your individual projects and situations. Teachers will continue to offer office hours to communicate with and support you. Please reach out to your teachers if you need additional help planning and completing your work.
Please turn in your completed product and/or reflection to your teacher by May 1st. After that, we hope to be able to share your final efforts virtually with our school community. You have done so much great work this year, and you deserve the chance to be celebrated for what you have accomplished.
